At Jesson’s C of E Primary School we pride ourselves on offering the traditional values of academic performance, smart appearance and courtesy in a disciplined and caring environment. We believe in order to achieve such a culture, parents, teachers and children must work together. The agreement helps to make such a partnership clear and will help to develop very good relationships between home and school.

The Parents/Carers

I/We shall try to:

  • See that my child arrives at school on time and properly equipped
  • Make sure that my child attends school regularly and write a note giving reasons for any absences
  • Inform the school about any concerns or problems that may affect my child’s work or behaviour
  • Support the school’s policy on discipline and behaviour
  • Attend each term’s Parent’s Evening to discuss my child’s progress
  • Talk to my child about life at school
  • Support my child in their learning at home and at school
  • Take annual leave during school holidays and not during term time

The Pupil

I will try to:

  • Take responsibility for my learning
  • Behave in an acceptable manner
  • Take part in a variety of school activities
  • Work alongside the school and parents to achieve the highest possible standards

The School
